Sir Lance Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 During testing, I have noted that if I select Cash on Delivery, I am also getting a shipping charge which is wrong. I am using Discount postage based on order value. One method I could use is to create a shipping modele called NOT REQ'D - COD which the user would select prior to going to payment. Is this the correct method or am I am missing something ? Sir lance

Sir Lance Posted August 16, 2008 Author Posted August 16, 2008 Thought that the cod module took care of the delivery fee. Thats what I thought, however it doesn't appear so. Can anyone else shed some light ?
satish Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Payment Modules and shipping Modules are not related. Suggestion: In Payment Module set a global variable flag to 1 if COD. In Shipping Module chek if flag is 1 and set cost to 0. Satish Ask/Skype for Free osCommerce value addon/SEO suggestion tips for your site. Check My About US For who am I and what My company does.
