Customers that dont return to the store issues

Using the osCommerce_PayPal_IPN_v2.3.4 module

 

If the customers pay through paypal and return to the store everything works fine

 

If they do not return to the store

The QTY does not get updated

The store does not send the orders emails??

 

I only get notification from paypal

 

Is this the way that this mod works or isnt IPN supposed to notify the store when the payment goes through

Shouldnt everything get updated and sent on that notification

Instead of relying on the customer coming back to the store?

 

Is there a fix for this?

Make sure that IPNs are recd.
