Can A Description Be Added to A Top Level Category

Hey Guys & Gals,

 

A client of mine has requested the ability to add a description on the category pages of his website.

 

I am talking about the page which comes up with sub-category links when a category is selected. He would love for the text to appear above the sub-category links.

 

Does anybody know if this is possible with the basic OsCommerce installation, or with the use of a particular contribution?

Check into one of header tag controls. I think they should do what you need.
