Displaying how many of a product were ordered on its listing page

So I need to have the running total of how many of a particular product were ordered somewhere on the products individual listing page. This is needed for bulk orders, where there may be 5 clients in on the bulk order, and in order for them all to receive the next price break, one of them would have to order a few more. This would allow them to see how far they are from the next price break. I already have QPBPP installed, and it works fine, but it doesn't do what I'm asking for.

 

Basically I need to take the "number of this product ordered" var from the report page stats_products_purchased.php and get it on the product listing pages. Additionally, it'd be nice to somehow ad a var where I can specify which products would display this number (possibly by adding a select somewhere in the product setup in admin, so if the var "display running total" is set to yes, it will display on the product page, and if its set to "no" it wont.

 

I realize this is probably a little much to ask, but if someone could at least tell me how to get that variable in the stats_products_purchased page and put it on the product listing pages, that'd be great.
