oscommerce ok. Template error

Hi

Total newbie so please bear with me.

I have installed oscommerce on my server without any problems. Everything works as it should. I now want to install an oscom template, but once uploaded and I goto install, it says fatal error globals need to be turned on in php.ini file.

 

Where is this file and how do I change it and what do I change it to?

 

Didnt think I would have a problem if iut installed ok.

You need to get in touch with the template providers.

Sounds like the template is an old version of oscommerce
