Product Extra Fields

Is there a way to not only create the fields but also what is displayed in them, instead of having to type them in every time you create a product?

 

for example I sell fabric and I would like to have say, 20 field named content each with a different content cotton, silk, and so on,,,

 

then all I have to do is select the status and it's included in the product description, it's a function I really need not only for content but for many other applications

 

does anyone know if this can be done?
