fgsuperstore Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Hi guys. After writing out my product description neatly with gaps inbetween info, i found that when viewed all the gaps are closed up. Do i need to type something inbetween lines to create gap? Cheers Jamie.......
jhande Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Use HTML codes Such as <p>Your text</p> for paragraphs and <br /> for line breaks with a space between lines. Hope that is what you were looking for? ;) - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
fgsuperstore Posted August 11, 2008 Author Posted August 11, 2008 Brilliant cheers. I have no idea about html coding. Is there any other codes i need to know about, or is there a guide somewhere online you all use. Thanks for your help guys Jamie.....
jhande Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Hey Jamie, You can Google HTML codes and find a lot of examples, such as - http://www.web-source.net/html_codes_chart.htm For the product descriptions you probably won't use many. Some of interest though might be for list, color changes, highlights or bold, etc... Another source - http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/ I learned old HTML coding and now I'm having to grip with new standards and CSS. The W3C is probably the best source of information if you really want to get into it. http://www.w3schools.com/xhtml/default.asp ;) - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
