Categories will not display with Featured Products

I installed V 1.59 of Featured Products and have encountered a very strange issue. If I enable Display Featured Products, and use the mods shown, the center column displays the featured products as expected. However, then nothing in any category or sub category will display. I also using the SPPC mod. Any :blink: ideas?
