Move boxes to header

Hi

 

I am very new to Os Commerce and need some help with the layout.

 

I would like to move the search box to be in the header section, is this possible to do or do i need to add a contribution?

 

Secondly, i want to have the left and right column in a solid colour, no boxes showing? Do i colour the boxes and the background for them to disapear or is there a way of removing them?

 

I have tried many different searches to find the answer but having no luck, if there is a topic already on here then can someone point me to it?

Hi Kate,

There is a contribution for the search in the header, its pretty easy to do anyhow.

The Columns can be done also, did you want to remove the boxes or just change the colour?

Also what about the boxes in the right colum, are they staying, and did you want them a different colour to the left?

All this will help us to give you the correct way of doing it

Thank you, i will go search for a contributions for the search in header.

 

I want want the left and right column to be a block colour, I don't want to see the border of the boxes or have a background colour to the boxes. e.g. left and right column background to be green, boxes background and border to be green and writing to be black. Not sure if these means removing boxes or just colouring them the same as the background?

No you do not need to remove the boxes, most of this you can do through your stylesheet.css
