hayesb2 Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Ok here is the scenario...I am a wholesaler and seting up websites for my dropship clients. I have 1 master OSC site...which is my site. And then I have 3 seperate clients which are clones of the master OSC site, except they are their own database, domain, etc. Currently I have the images folder duplicated in all of the accounts, the master account, as well as the 3 client accounts....due to the size of the images folder, this seems very needless. So what I want to do is point the other 3 client sites to the master OSC site images folder, but at the same time I want to ensure the clients do NOT have permissions to modify... So how do I do this? Is there a secure symlink I can setup? I definately dont want the users being able to modify the master's image folder...but I need their sites to point to it. Please help
