Modules help

Hi I have just bought a site topebookstore.info and was wanting to install a google checkout module to the site. I have put all the files in through the admin area in there correct spot. I just did the install as a fresh new install instead of adjust files. I did have paypal and other modules available. After doing the install when I click on modules it gives a 500 error. Just wondering what I need to do to get the thing working.

 

Also how do you change the admin password and through the admin area is that the only place I can access my files?
