How to make an Install package

Hi everyone

I would like to make an install package for backup, to ensure that I always have an backup I can install on another webhotel.

I have added a lot of contribs, to the original installation, and now I would like to make a full backup to use if the webhotel crashes or I later on want to move the webshop.

Anyone who knows the best way to do this?

I'd make a backup of the data from admin.

That will probably store it in /admin/backup.

Then use an ftp client to download the whole site, including backup, to your local PC.

Zip it up and burn on a cd.

Thanks, I thought about that, but what I really would like, is to make an install-package with an automatic installation as if it was a new installation, with a installation file, like install.php.

E.g. http://www.myshop.com/install.php

Sounds more like you want to "sell" your shop.

Look at the osc install package....

Enjoy
