Multiple items discount from same vendor

hi i have modifyed the hell out of the vendors_ms2_v1-2 conrib by Fernando Borcel so its a little more usefull to me shows the products vendors name & id in the products listings and previews on the admin side.

 

now im trying to make a order discount module that lets me add a discount in a dollar amount not a perentage based on mulitple items from the same supplier.

 

i was wondering how does one get the products info (model, name, id) ect from the current cart during the order process ?

i realise that an extra sql query is needed some where along the check out process for the vendors id do to the comparisons

 

i was really hoping that some one had made somthing that was simular i could refer to but i could not find it.
