links in different languages doesn't work

Hello, i have an MS2.2osc store (the server runs MySQL 4.1.22 and php 5.2.6), it is working online since 1 year ago. I planned it on 4 languages but finally i decided to start using only one of them.

One year after this i have decided to activate the rest of languages (english, french, german) and i've done this trough admin/location/languages but, when i am back to the catalog and click over one language different than the predeterminated one, the links of the central boxes and featured products takes me to the correspondant page but in the language configurated with the higher order's number...

 

Could you give me an idea for a solution?

Q2. If you change the language to english and click About Us what language is the about us displayed in?

 

Q3. What is the default language?

Languages order is

 

english = 2

spanish = 4

german = 6

You also need to set up copies of the new files in /includes/languages/spanish/.....

Thank you for your answer, i must add definitions in box information, and also category names and product's title and description in all the languages.. This is easy to do but, here is the difficult:

 

If you see my index.php in the center there is a categories menu with images. if you try to follow the link when is active one language (for example english) the link takes you to the correspondent page (still not translated) but in the language configurated with the higher number in admin/location/languages.

For example you activate the english language and you try to link with 'cloth nappies' category (using the images menu, not the categories box) you see the link it appears like this:

http://www.rincondegaia.com/index.php?cPath=22&language=de

 

Same case with english language active if you try to see one of the featured products box (below the images & categories menu), you will get a link like this:

http://www.rincondegaia.com/product_info.p...s_id=74031&language=de

But when I click on pack goes to de.

 

Have you translated packs category into all languages?

hi again, no i havent translated everything yet but, as i can see the problem doesn't comes trough the quantity of translated items (categories/products/boxes definitions). I think the problem comes trough a problem managing the languages.

If you see breadscrumbs over the categories box you can see if you are inside the english, german or spanish translation (catalog, katalog, inicio).

When i use the categories box on the left there is no problem, when spanish is active the links works in spanish and the same for the rest.

When i use central zone (categories with images or featured products) and spanish or english are active, the links works still in german (click and then see breadscrumbs... voilà we have the german katalog instead of english or spanish)...

Now i will activate the french language and configurate it on higher level in admin, and i am sure that the predominant language will be french...

 

I will investigate more and when i get the answer i will post it.

Sounds liks a plan.

 

Can you just translate the categories pack into all languages and see if you can change to english click on cloth nappies then packs.

 

Currently the first click works in english but not the second.

Hello. Done and translated. If you activate one language (english) it appears like 'cloth nappies' click on it and you will go to french page and see the category like 'packs couches'. Now if you change the language (german) you will see the category translated to german 'windeln packs' if you click on it you will go to french category contents 'packs couches'
