wergolf.net Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Hello the new guy here I am trying to install files in root dir, I thought if I put them in the public_html folder that would be it , apparantly not, I tried looking in forum through search and didn"t find anything, can someone help this struggling new guy? Jack_mcs Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 That means it will fall under the public_html folder, correct?If your shop was installed into a sub-directory, usually catalog, then that is the root. You can go into admin->Tools->Database Backups and the path to admin will be shown there. The root is one before the admin, probably. It could be that your admin is installed in a different directory than your shop. The simplest thing to do is to just ask your host.
