Want introduction on index.php page.

Hallo,

If your visiting an OScommerce website, you open the page directly with the products on your index.php page.

What i want to do is when the visitors enter the first page, that you can read more information about our company and the products (on the index.php). So, not the products list as you now can see.

make a copy of index.php, call it say catalog.php and rename FILENAME_DEFAULT same

then modify index.php as your intro page

the home page is index.php and the original index.php is now bushcraft-events.php, click on courses to see that.

Note: this site is not yet finished.

I forgot to mention you do need to rename the index.php in languages as well.

Change the name of both of these to the new name making sure its exactly the same for both. and rename FILENAME_DEFAULT same too.

You obviously have a template thats messed with the code, so at a guess you edit new index.php as:

Unfortunatly templates contain non-standard often out-dated code, so can be very difficult to alter except by the template writer.
