pulldown menu in search box

Hi there,

 

I'm running a bookstore and would like to change the search infobox and add a pulldown menu.

 

In this pulldown menu it should be possible to choose from 'All books', 'Booktitle', 'Author', 'Publisher', 'Keyword' and 'ISBN'.

 

searching all books must be everything: title, description, author, publisher, isbn etc.

searching booktitle must be only in the table 'products_name',

searching author must be only in the table 'manufacturers_name', (i've manually changed the define translations to author instead of manufacturers)

searching publisher must be only in the table 'products_publisher',

searching keyword must be only in the table 'products_description' and 'products_name',

and

searching isbn must be only in the table 'products_model' and 'products_model2' (ISBN13 & ISBN10).

 

Does anyone know how to get this work? I've search the complete add-on list but couldn't find anything (just keywords and categories).

the search has a search in categories function use that.

 

Remeber a product can be in multiple categories
