You most likely have a file manager somewhere in your cpanel that will allow you to upload and download. php files = ASCII mode image files = binary mode Sometimes FTP auto mode fails. You may want to search for another FTP program.

Guest Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 ditto, I've never had a problem with filezilla, though there have been reports that permission changes do not work sometimes. I have heard that the permissions changes don't work on windows servers.
