JeepManUSA Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 You could save me (and 1000's of other people) hours, days, stomach walls, hair. I've tried HTML-kit, Rapid PHP 2008 and a couple other systems to try to modify a page, then view what it looks like. It just looks like text when I go to the preview pane, or when I ftp the page back to my website, it breaks the links in the category field. I've seen lots of comments about us "dummies", but if there were just a few 'easy to find' steps for a beginner, it would make everyones life more enjoyable. I've seen the "basics for design" that simplifies it down to the left, right, header, and footer php's, plus the css. That is helpful, but after searching endlessly, I've wondered if there isn't an easier way to edit page contents, than with the tiny little box on the .php page under 'tools/file manager'. The other thing I'm trying to do is add additional pages. So if there is anyone that could take a few minutes of your time to help 'the troops' out, it could be the more valuable than you could even imagine. Thank you.
