Moleiro Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Hi everyone, Most of the products of my shop are "normal" products wich default quantity when adding them to cart makes sense to be 1. The problem is that I have some products that are usually sold in pairs, and makes more sense to have a default quantity of 2 when adding these products to cart. I want to know if it's possible when you add one of these products to shopping cart the default qualtity automatically change to 2. But I only want this for certain products not to every product, just to the ones that are usually sold in pairs. I appreciate every help or opinion. Thank's in advance.
♥geoffreywalton Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 You would need to add and extra field to the product to hold an indicator that this is a "pair" product. Then when the qty box is first displayed to display 2 if it is a pair product. Have not seen a contribution for this. ♥geoffreywalton Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 If you use products extra fields adding the pairs indicator is very easy. Then you need to amend everywhere there is a qty box. This will depend on your site.
