Guest Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 OK, let me first say this. I made a sub domain to test my site. So the real on is www.blablabla.com the test site is testsite.blablabla.com/catalog (im not sure why, but CATALOG HAS to be at the end) When uploading my additional V2.0.1, I seperate i get a few issues here. I upload the Files to be added. good, then it tells me to go to http://www.mydomain.com/admin/additional_i...s_configure.php I type testsite.blablabla.com/catalog/admin/additional_images_configure.php I get to login, then i get a message saying Warning: main(includes/additional_images_configure.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/13/d243497472/htdocs/shop/catalog/admin/additional_images_configure.php on line 28 Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/additional_images_configure.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /homepages/13/d243497472/htdocs/shop/catalog/admin/additional_images_configure.php on line 28 ok, its telling me i should see something erd to say install, im not. How do I pass this. And as for the files to be modified, can i upload theirs and replace mine or do I need to run the windiff? thanks! Quote
♥geoffreywalton Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Did you upload the files to testsite.blablabla.com/catalog/ I suspect not. If they are new files no need for windif. If they are updates the changes should be in the installation instructions otherwise if you have changed the files in any way then windif is the way to go. Ya I did, Thats why I am so confused as what I did wrong. I need windiff since Im using a custom theme, or else it makes it half the stock one and half mine. So I copy and paste the new compared code? right? What else can be the issue? Thanks Quote
dorothai Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 (edited) No, it didnt work again Did you create a sub domain to install the test version on the web server? like http://test.yourdomain.com If no - then this could be the solution. Edited December 29, 2008 by dorothai Quote
