Specials & Products_new sort category & sub-category dropdown menu

Hey guys,

 

For all you coding geniuses out there - is there anyone that could manipulate this to be use as just a sub category filter on all of the pages. I am using the add on that allows you to see all products in all sub categories of a main category. Say I click a category, I want to be able to sort the products that come up further by sub category with this tools. I hope that makes sense. If its not an easy fix, I could pay someone to make this happen - but as usual, I am on an extremely tight budget. Thanks!
