Offering Products for Free

Hello Everyone,

 

Is it possible to offer free products to download in addition to categories for paid products?

 

I offer a number of paid download products but would also like to use the full functionality of osCommerce account creation etc. but to offer downloads at $0.00 €0.00 £0.00 etc. without going to paypal etc.

 

Is there a module that offers this?

Create a downloads section then make it so people need to sign in to get them

or

Add the download link to the product listing, add hide price if $0 and replce the price with Free.

When you say a downloads section - do you mean a new category?

 

I created a category called "Free eBooks & Reports" - the problem happens when people check out to get the download as Paypal will not allow zero values.

 

I've looked through the admin several times but can not find the control to set "hide price if $0" is this in the code?
