Xampp

Hey everyone,

I checked the search engine, etc. but couldn't figure out how to use the osCommerce in XAMPP? Is there a starting point, I tried to do it like the web install, but I can't get it to go, any step by step instructions for getting it to work with XAMPP?? Links?

1. Install XAMPP and ensure is working on your ocmputer (i.e. you can use the test XAMPP pages).

2. Unzip the osCommerce download to the htdocs directory of your xampp install

3. Open up your browser and go to http://localhost/catalog/install (though the path may be slightly differrent depending on the directory name you used when unzipping the download)

4. Follow the install instructions.

Tom.. that is exactly what I was missing the "catalog" before the install in my browser! DUH!! see, I knew it was something dumb!
