Jack_mcs Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 There is a link on googles site to add a link but it is rare that you need bother. They usually find you way before you think of that. Your site is probably already listed. But you do need to install some contributions to give your site a better chance in the listings. I suggest starting with a meta tags contribution. I recommend Header Tags SEO but there are others. I also suggest a url rewriter. Ultimate SEO is the better, in my opinion, but you have to get the right version. The one marked version E Fixed seems to be the most stable. arietis Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 could someone advise me on how i register site with google and what i need to do to my header etc ass i have never done this before i had found a couple of my sites that were not indexed by google. you can submit your site from the following url: http://www.google.com/addurl/ it might take a week or two before your site is crawled, but it will be eventually. and you can verify that it is indexed by doing a google search like this "site:mydomain.com". after it's indexed, it'll have a few entries as the search results for that. they also have lots of tools for webmasters at http://www.google.com/webmasters/ - you should check those out as well.
