Hold Session ID when using "Search" in header

Hi again,

 

I went the route of puting my quick find and advanced search in my header.

 

Has anyone come across a contrib. showing how to make a html/php "Search" and "Advanced Search" hold the session ID while someone is logged in?

 

Any help would be great. I have been working on this issue for a few days now and would like to resolve the issue.
