BrockleyJohn Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Doubtless I'm missing something basic here and I'm unlikely to be the first, but I couldn't find anything similar by searching. I've set up a shipping table with values 150:2.5,500:3.5,750:4.5 and table method weight, handling fee zero but it calculates the shipping for an item with product_weight = 140.00 as £10... why isn't it £2.50?? and buying 2 at 140.00 comes out at £17.50!! What I want is for orders up to 150 to cost £2.50, to 500 cost £3.50 and to 750 cost £4.50 Helpful suggestions greatly appreciated, I've been banging my head on the wall for a couple of hours at least ;) Contact me for work on updating existing stores - whether to Phoenix or the new osC when it's released. web-project Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 check the "Package Tare weight" and "Larger packages - percentage increase". in oscommerce admin panel--> Configuration --> Shipping/Packaging Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. I also had to set the maximum package weight to 750 before it would give me a sensible answer, but now it's sorted.
