kacey36 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Hi all, I've never dealt with oscommerce or any ecommerce related stuff before now and I'm stuck with something. I've downloaded an osc template from vodahost my hosting providers. I've followed the tutorials for changing logo but it's not working. I have replace the store_logo.png file with my logo file which I also called store_logo.png. When I ftpd (also new to fpting) it asked if I wanted to overwrite the existing file of same name. I clicked yes. It said successfull but when I checked the template there was no change. I have changed text on the home page so the template is accepting changes I just can't figure out how to get my logo to appear where the templates logo is. I want to chage the picture also. Not sure if that's part of the store logo or not. A bit confused by all this really, but I am determined to learn! I hope changing the colours of the template is easier that changing the logo! The template is at http://nappycakesgiftshop.com Is there something I am not doing right?

kacey36 Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 after further investigating I now know that the store_logo file wasn't the file name for the logo on the template. That is called vilords_left. so I've figured that much out. Just need to rezize logo coz it came out HUGE!!
