The Famous Fatel Error Issue

Hey, well I ran a search through the boards and couldnt find the answer really.

 

 

 

Everytime i try to upload a template, I run into a few fatel errors. Lets use the green mania one for example.

 

 

 

I used the simple upload, where only 5 files need to be changed (footer, header, left, right, stylesheet), when I did this, I got this message

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class shoppingcart in /homepages/13/d243497472/htdocs/os-store/catalog/includes/boxes/shopping_cart.php on line 13

 

 

 

anyone have a reason for this? As well as if I was uploading it the wrong way since its not really complete.

Methinks you have to install it from scratch.

Thats what I tried to, I made a sub domain, everything installed correctly. Then I tried the template, and i got some Fatel errors?

 

 

 

I will try again right now, I may have been uploading it twice, i tend to do that sometimes and the FTP doesnt save it in the right spots. :angry:

 

 

any other ideas while im at it?

Use a proper ftp program like filezilla.

I believe this is telling you that you have 2 places in the php that is loading which "declare" the class shoppingCart

 

Don't know where the new one is, but one place will be \includes\classes\shopping_cart.php, which is where it "should" be, you could try commenting it out there but better to find and remove the other "one".
