Kanz Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Hello, I just got done installing version 3.0.1, for the admin part all works fine. the carroussel display is: true but i can't make it appear in home page. I've carefully followed all instruction for index (step 13 from www.oscommercex.com) but it doesn't show. It's a great and nice contribution and i'll very happy if someone could help please. Guest Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Hy all I`ve installed the addon and i get this kind of error in the admin section " Fatal error: Call to undefined function tep_cfg_mod_select_option() in /home/xxxxx/public_html/admin/configuration.php(123) : eval()'d code on line 1 " And second i don`t have any products displayd - just white screen for firefox and IE7 I have to say that i have a previous carousel addon installed - "special products carousel" Any ideea how to get the addon really working for me to ? That's why i've removed the code in waiting and hoping a solution. I'll will be very happy to get it works, Do you have any idea? Thanks for your help. I have set the resize images option true, but the resized images are also not how I want them to be. A little bit too big. If any one have any ideea how to resolv this - let us know - plz :blush: And in the end - another question for ya - have any ideea (another ideea) how to resize the carousel menu??? deggial Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 To resize the carousel menu open the configuration file under your catalog/kampanya/style_1/medium/configuration.php (or under style_2 if you use the style_2) and change the values of witdh and height: $style['width'] = '509'; $style['height'] = '254'; $style['product_name_lenght'] = '50'; I finally made it work. I just tried your new fla. file but it still not working for me. the place where caroussel must appear is blank, and when i add products from admin the end of the page and right column disappeared. Also if the carrousel resize picture automatically in kampanya folder for me i don't have any image in this folder even when i add products from admin. Do you have any idea , what's wrong please? But we can still make it better. Below I state 2 points to improve it: 1) To preserve transparency while resizing images. 2) It takes a little bit long to load the page everytime because it resizes images evertime the page refreshes. Is it not possible to resize images only once when they are added to flash carousel and read them always from this folder? In my case is the other way around:- In IE I get the flash movie with both URLs http://www.domain.com or http://domain.com - If I use https or www.domain.com then the link doesn't work anymore - In Firefox www.domain.com or https (with or without www) do not work (white box) - In Firefox http://domain.com the link works as well I will upgrade to the latest version soon and hopefully this will go away but just in case somebody is looking at the code and the bug needs to be fixed be aware that this behaviour exists in the previous version as explained above. When i use www. infront of the URL the hyperlinks don't work anymore. when i just goto my store http://tescanadastore.com/catalog the hyperlinks work fine.
