We have our own stock / inventory control software and we want to build an OSC site and have the inventory stock numbers feed into the cart. Does this even sound possible? We have spoken with the developers of the current inventory software and they said they have an add on to their our system called Web Connect and it is a defined set of XML exchanges. And they told us the interface for communication between our upcoming web store (OSC) and our Genesis inventory management/sales order system will be via XML exchange. So we are asking if anyone out there has customzied the inventory control area of their OSC cart. We need to enlist the experise of developers, but not sure if plain old php developer would do the trick. Anyone who could provide even a sentence or to about this would be awesome!
