sharplab Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 We are planning to move our shopping cart from a sub directory to the root directory at www.xyz.com. Problem is that we have about 3300 pages indexed and we do not want to lose this index after our move. Is there anythingg we can do to avoid this? Should we simply leave the store in the /shop directory or will we get better indexing from having our store in the root directory? Also if we do lose the indexed pages will we have to start all over with respect to sand box and such? The domain will remain the same, we just want to get our entire shopping cart into the root dir.
