sunny88 Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I've currently got my osCommerce MS2.2 website on a shared server, with the following specs: Server OS: Linux 2.4.21-37.0.1.ELsmp Database: MySQL 5.0.16-max-log HTTP Server: Apache/2.0.46 (Red Hat) PHP Version: 4.4.8 (Zend: 1.3.0) I am now organising for a dedicated virtual server to be built for this store. Any recommendations on the versions of: 1. Linux server 2. mySQL database server 3. Apache server 4. PHP version Does osCommerce MS2.2 run properly on PHP 5? I couldn't see it being listed along side the osCommerce specs. Any comments much appreciated. Thank you.

Anyone else out there experienced any problems running osCommerce MS2.2 on PHP 5 and mySQL 5? I just migrated my site over to a test server running PHP 5 and it appears to all function properly. I do not have searching on my site, so the above fix doesn't affect me. Any comments from people running on PHP 5 greatly appreciated. Thanks.
