Noobie Question: Affiliate Shop Fronts

Apologies if this is a silly question, but having just stumbled across OsCommerce, I wanted to ask whether the script could be used to power an affiliate storefront.

 

To do this, I guess I'd need to disable the shopping cart functionality. I'd just like to use Clickthrough URLs for each of the products. Is this possible?

 

Also, would I be able to add some kind of price-comparison functionality to allow visitors to compare the price of a particular product at four or five different stores?
