Insert Manufacturer info box within product info page rather than.....

I would like the manufacturer info box to appear within the product info page rather than the column_left or right, but when I attempt to add the require statement within the table in product info.php it doesn't show. Does anyone have a sure fire way of making the info box show within the productinfo page?
