Category - Sub Category problem

This is a strange problem, which was working fine a few hours ago, but I have been adding products, so I guess (I have no idea what) I must of did something.

If you check at my website www.nontando.com, you will see under categories something called wire products. Now, on the home page it is appearing q00%, with the 3 subcategories listed under the main category, i.e. wire products. Howver, if you click on wire products, then the 3 subcategories are not being displayed and says "no products".

I have been checking the admin again and again and it looks right - Just like any other category, so I am really not sure why it is not been displayed?

Any ideas will be so much appreciated

i have not looked at your site. owuld like to suggest you take a look at the use cache setting, chnage it to false perhaps, if everything else is working as you suggest?

Thanks Ken - It is actually set to false?

Not sure what is going on here?

It is just so weird it displays correctly in the category menu, but when you click on the main category it does not display the sub categories. It almost seems like a display issue as it recognized the sub categories in the menu??

Ok - I just fixed it. I took the 3 subcategories out and placed them on the top. Then deleted the main category, recreated the main category and put the sub categories back in. Oh well it worked. Still have no idea what went wrong....

i had that problem too - i walked away in disgust and made a coffee and when i got back it had fixed itself, so i'm guessing its a cache issue

Yes, that is what I had imagined it was, but I did clear the cache and it was still initially a problem. Maybe it was an OSC cache problem ? At least our problems are resolved now. Regards, Gary
