Guest Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 I am transfering my website from my old web address to a new one. I downloaded the installation from my old server and uploaded it to my new server. I did the same with my database. I also edited the configure.php files but I am getting errors. Will you take a look and tell me what I did wrong . www.gracefulhosting.com/southern www.gracefulhosting.com/southern/admin
spax Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 It looks like you may have missed some files and some may be corrupt, during the upload process. Upload them again, making sure you get them all and your FTP client is using ASCII mode.
Guest Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Okay, I tried that and I am still getting errors. Anyone willing to help???
spax Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Well something changed as that is a different error, catalog side. Just looking at it again, it appears your configure files are incorrect. I think your includes directory is defined like this: define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'southern/includes/'); When it should be this: define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');
Guest Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Fixed that. Do you mind viewing my whole config file. Here is the code <?php /* osCMax v2.0, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.osCDox.com Copyright 2006 osCMax2005 osCMax, 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.gracefulhosting.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.gracefulhosting.com'); define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', ''); define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false'); // secure webserver for catalog module define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/home/graceful/public_html/southern'); // where the pages are located on the server define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/'); // absolute path required define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/home/graceful/public_html/southern/admin/'); // absolute pate required define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/'); // absolute path required define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/graceful/public_html/southern'); // absolute path required define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', '/images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', '/includes/'); define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/'); define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/'); define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/'); define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/'); define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . '/includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/images/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/includes/modules/'); define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . '/backups/'); define('DIR_FCKEDITOR', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/FCKeditor/'); define('DIR_WS_FCKEDITOR', DIR_WS_CATALOG . '/FCKeditor/'); define('HCM_LICENSE_HOLDER', 'Registered User'); define('HCM_LICENSE_DOMAIN', 'http://www.gracefulhosting..com'); // define our database connection define('DB_SERVER', 'localhost'); // eg, localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'graceful_'); define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', "xxxxxx'); define('DB_DATABASE', 'graceful_'); define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persisstent connections? define('STORE_SESSIONS', ''); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql' ?>
spax Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Hmm osCMax. Really, you should be going to the osCMax forums for support as it is a separate entity from osCommerce. I can tell you that you haven't fixed it yet because there is a leading slash in the includes definition. It should be like this, with no leading slash: define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/'); The same may apply to these: define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', '/images/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . '/includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/images/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/includes/modules/'); define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . '/backups/'); define('DIR_FCKEDITOR', DIR_FS_CATALOG . '/FCKeditor/'); define('DIR_WS_FCKEDITOR', DIR_WS_CATALOG . '/FCKeditor/'); But like I say, you'd be better off going to osCMax and asking your questions, as it is very different from osCommerce. BTW - You posted too much info with that configure file. No one needs to know anything about your database. If you can still edit, I would blank all that info out.
