Order status not updating and order history not appearing

Hi, I'm not sure what information would be needed, but I'll try to give as much as I think you would need to know.


These problems started occurring a week or 2 after I installed a module to have unique order numbers (based off date and time). Everything worked perfectly fine for a little bit, then one day I started receiving emails about orders now showing in the account history, then whenever I'd try to update the order status and post a comment, the email would go through, but the order would not change on the orders page (stuck at Processing (Paypal standard)). I tried reversing the changes made from the order number mod, but all that did was erase all orders from the list and didn't fix anything. The first time I try to open an order invoice, the only that happens is "$order_id" appears at the top and "Error: Order does not exist." highlighted in red is below it. I click the order again and the invoice opens. If I go to customers>orders and select an order, the same thing appears when I select an order, but the order number shows in the info box on the right.


That's all I can think of right now. Anyone have idea how I can fix this without completely reinstalling and losing all my customer's information (along with stock and other changes I've made)?
