how to change the email generated when order placed

Hello i have a question hopefully somebody can help me with this.

 

I would like to know where exactlly is the email generated when a order is proccessed ?

 

we would like to add like a thank you note or something like that instead of just having the order details and thats it.

 

please if somebody knows where this email is generated and how to change this i would really appreciate it.
