Manual processing credit cards

Is there a contribution that allows the manual processing of credit cards in-store rather than online?

Posted

yes, called Credit Card with CVV2 at URL:

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

You can not save the CVV/CVV2 security code at all, its against Visa and Mastercard rules.

Storing CVV/CVV2 codes puts you in risk of losing your merchant account, possibly being blacklisted so that you can not get a new merchant account aswell as having to pay penalty fines.

If you wish to use CVV/CVV2 security code then you have to be connected through a real time gateway, then the CVV/CVV2 number is not stored, but a transaction autorization code is issued and returned back. (This autorization code you can then in turn store)

NOTE: The customers card does not have to be charged at this point, the amount purchased for can simply be reserved/authorized and can be activated at a later date.

Even if you are not collecting/storing the CVV/CV2 code then using a termina; to process internet orders offline WILL be in breach of your merchant agreement an you will be liable to be blacklisted. You need to be fully PCI compliant to capture ANY card details - are you?
