Kona Bean Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Hello, Can someone tell me what the name of the missing .gif for "Let's See What We Have Here" should be so that I can use a transparent .gif to replace it? Thanks
spax Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 The gif is whatever you have set as the category image.
Kona Bean Posted July 24, 2008 Author Posted July 24, 2008 The gif is whatever you have set as the category image. Maybe I'm not understanding you... I've installed osCommerce 2.2, this is not a live store. The "Let's See What We Have Here" image.gif is missing from the 2.2 release, I have not deleted anything. I am asking if anyone knows what the name of this .gif file was supposed to be, or how I might go about IDing it so I can replace it with a transparent.gif with the same name. Thanks.
Ausgirl Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 They are all different for example: http://www.yoursite.com/images/subcategory_keyboards.gif Right click the image, then properties & it will give you the address. If there is no picture & a little red square, it may still give you the address.

There is no image in the image properties: Dimensions 0 x 0 pixels Depth 0 bits per pixel Image type Unknown File size 213 bytes Address http://site.com/catalog/images/ Alt Text Let's See What We Have Here
sdub90 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 You're supposed to upload your own image, it's just a placeholder.
Kona Bean Posted July 24, 2008 Author Posted July 24, 2008 OK, now I get it. I don't know what happened to the original image though. Thanks everybody.
