richardissuchastud Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 I am using Oscommerce version osCommerce 2.2-MS2. Currently, I am migrating my old OSC files from my other site to the new site. What files I need to modify in order to connect to the MySQL database in the new site? I know for sure are includes\configure.php and admin\includes\configure.php. Any other files I need to configure?

subpop Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Only your permissions on the folders that need read / write permissions.Nic I just can´t get that warning away from my index page. It sais in the top that I must change permission for configure.php. i have done that several times now,.. I have tried 644, 444 and 400. and nothing happens. I have done the proper change to both admin and the other configure.php, but I just can´t get rid of that warning text. The warning about the Install folder dissapears as it should do, when I change the name of the folder. i have tried to delete that file just o see what happens, but the same text is still there. And another strange thing is that when I right click configure.php to change the permission, it changes to a 6 in the beginning automaticly. -even in different ftp: programs. Please please, I would be VERY happy if anyone got some answers for this! :) Have a good day!
FIMBLE Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 You should try using the file manager in the web site hosting control panel. Try setting it to 400. Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
