Guest Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 New Feature: Admin Categories Shows Manufacturer Under Admin->Categories/Products screen, this will add the manufacturer's name in the same column of the products. I found this very useful, so that I didn't have to click on each product to figure out what products were assigned to what manufacturer while I'm looking at the categories view. This is a single feature kept simple, and it is in a standard patch format to allow anyone to easily install or uninstall the patch: "patch <filename" to install, and "patch -R <filename" to uninstall. Make sure you are in the admin directory when you run the patch. Linux usually comes with the patch utility. Windows users can get the patch utility from here: http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/patch.htm (or you can make the change by hand) The manufacturer's name is added to the left of the status button.
