Save categories to account

Hi, I looking for a feature that will enable customers (who have accounts) to save categories/sub categories to their account page. The reason for wanting this is most sub categories on my site are printer models and I would like returning customers to be able to login and select their printer from their account so they dont have to go through the list of printers again.

 

Any contrutions / code that can do this?

Anyone else in need of something like this?
