CRISPIX396 Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 I tried searching but i probably dont have the right key words... I am setting up my catalog, and i was wondering if there is a plugin that will allow me to input my cost per product as well as my customers cost. So that i can immediatly have a tally of the profit we make? I might be trying to mix Quickbooks into this too much, but it would be great to know actual profit at the end of every month. Any advise? I want to get that setup before i input all of our products. Sory if this has been covered. when i search for "input cost" it does not help and when i look through the 60 pages of plugins, i dont know what the names of the plugins mean with out opening all of them. thanks

lindsayanng Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 i have to tell you, if you REALLY want to run a sucessfull business and really track true cost and profits, i say get QuickBooks. We all know that the ACTUAL cost of an item is not your REAL cost because you pay shipping, host space, month fees, operating costs, ect. Getting quickbooks will track ALL expenses. cost of each item, and all profits (REAL PROFITS NO GROSS) Right now i run a very sucessfull manufacturing and engineering firm, it was my dad's and when he passed away, it was left to my mom and i> Before he passed though, i was strictly the book keeper.. ANd really, Quickbooks is the BEST software around for all different size businesses, and i BELIEVE there is actually a contribution that will let you import all of your orders from oscommerce to QB.
