Get new copy of one file?

I think I have a corrupted /admin/categories.php file.

 

Is there a way to get a new copy of that one particular file??

I found a new categories.php file by downloading the latest installation version, but now I wonder if it will work.

 

I have version 2.2-MS2. Will the 2.2-rc2a version work with my older install?
