I probably won't be much help, but I had the same problem.

I finally figured out the code in /includes/modules/product_listing.php was FUBAR. It was template and I don't know if the code was wrecked during the install or just came that way.

Another thing you might try is to turn OFF the SEO URL contribution you have installed and see if it works then. It might have something to do with that.

Thank you for the response. I tried turning off the SEO contrib but that dint work. I dont think i have messed with the stock product_listing.php but will look into that. As of right now still haveing the same problem, no products are turning up in search.

Just after this line in the code:

It just displays the MYSQL query used in the browser.

I searched for "quarter" and here is the query string it displayed:

Look at the code in advanced_search_result.php for these lines:

  $listing_sql = $select_str . $from_str . $where_str . $order_str;

 require(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_PRODUCT_LISTING);

Are they there?

If not post the first non-blank line of code you have just before this line:

That's the correct file. Although you have no catalog folder so it's the one in your root folder.

But when you added the code I suggested nothing showed up?

Maybe to text was black like the background color and you didn't see it.

So we've ruled out the query being bad I think.
