osc_draw_hidden_field function question

Add quantity box to product page seems like exactly what I need but he has me replacing tep_draw_hidden_field with osc_draw_hidden_field and I get this error:

 

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: osc_draw_hidden_field() in /home/earga0/public_html/oscommerce/catalog/product_info.php on line 214

 

 

I googled around and found osc_draw_hidden_field used in other peoples code I'm just really confused as to what's going on with it and why or where to get this function.
