How I did my Freebies in the store and a question.

Okay, this is what I did. If anyone knows of a better way, please let me know.

I made the Freebies category then added my item. On that page, I entered no price and where it says Product URL, I entered in the location of my file on 4shared.com. Works like a charm, however, I need to change the wording "For more information, please visit this product's webpage" to "Download this FREEBIE here". I cannot find where this language is. If anyone can tell me, I would be sooooo grateful!

Thanks a Million.

It depends on where the module had you put it..

The first place i always look is catalog/includes/languages/english.php

if it is not there, it COULD be in catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/freebie.php (or whatever - if any the name of the file for that particular module)

if not in there, then you can look through the catalog/includes/languages/english folders.. there is a file for each page of the website there.

A great place for newbies to start

DO NOT PM ME FOR HELP. My time is valuable, unless i ask you to PM me, please dont. You will get better help if you post publicly. I am not as good at this as you think anyways!

HOWEVER, you can visit my blog (go to my profile to see it) and post a question there, i will find time to get back and answer you
