how to change color of text

They are links, which are styled by the "A" rule in your stylesheet. It looks like you have already changed the colour to white so if you want to keep that for other links, you are going to have to make a new "A" rule with the colour you want and add the class to the links in account.php.

stylesheet.php

change this ( on line 24 to 32)

A {

color: #000000;

text-decoration: none;

}

A:hover {

color: #AABBDD;

text-decoration: underline;

}

what color do you need? 1 for A, 1 for A:hover

In your stylesheet.css file you will have something like this:

A {
 color: #ffffff;
 text-decoration: none;
}

A:hover {
 color: #AABBDD;
 text-decoration: underline;
}

I am assuming you or someone changed the link color to white - color: #ffffff; - because of a dark background somewhere else on your site.

So you need to add a new rule in the stylesheet to have black links or whatever you want, on the account page. Add this to stylesheet.css for black links:

A.accountLinks {
 color: #000000;
 text-decoration: none;
}

A.accountLinks:hover {
 color: #AABBDD;
 text-decoration: underline;
}

Then edit account.php, find the links that look like this:

<?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'arrow_green.gif') . ' <a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ACCOUNT_EDIT, '', 'SSL') . '">' . MY_ACCOUNT_INFORMATION . '</a>'; ?>

and add the new class to them like so:

<?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'arrow_green.gif') . ' <a class="accountLinks" href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ACCOUNT_EDIT, '', 'SSL') . '">' . MY_ACCOUNT_INFORMATION . '</a>'; ?>

Notice class="accountLinks" was added. Do the same for all 6 links in the page.

If you need to change the hover state also, you can add that to stylesheet.css as well.
